Choosing an Upgrade Plan

Trying to decide on a plan that inexpensive will allow me to add widgets and customize more things. Is there a student plan option or something?

There is no discount for anyone based on any discriminatory factors like age or student staus or non-profit status. We all pay the same amount in full for every upgrade.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Neither the free plan nor the Premium plan will allow you to upload your own themes or plugins. More to the point is that WordPress.com blogs cannot be equipped for eCommerce transactions unless they have the $299. per year Business upgrade.
