choosing the color of the font

i use the theme Cutline and i dont like the color chosen by default for the “pages” names, they come up in bright green. Can i change that for grey or black? also, why is it that sometimes an active weblink shows up in bright blue and sometimes in purple when i create my post. When it types in purple, then it showsus in black color underlined in the text of the post, which is what i favor. thanks!

Colors are theme-dependent and cannot be changed except with the CSS Upgrade and CSS experience http://support.wordpress.com/custom-css/
The weblink shows up bright blue in the editor by default. That is to mark clearly that this is a link. Color changes indicate visited/non-visited links.

Thanks a lot and well noted for the color of the font. However for weblink, why does weblink sometimes shows up bright blue and sometimes purple. For example in my page About Me, there are 2 links in turquoise blue underlined, and one in grey udnerlined. I would like all of them grey underlined.

They’re all blue to me. Like I said above, Color changes indicate visited/non-visited links. Non-visited are blue, visited are grey. That’s theme-dependent and cannot be changed.

question re. the css upgrade, i am completely clueless about technical upgrades. will it be easy to modify the color of the font if i buy the upgrade or do i need technical assistance?

Yes and No. Read the link I provided above. If you understand what it says, it will be easy. If not, no, then it will not be easy.
