  i don’t want someone to have access to my blog because my life has had a big change and i want to kind of start new with that. i don’t want “old” people to see new information.
  can there be a way that i can have them request access or something like that?

  Hi armandogonzalezrn,

  You’ll need to make your blog private. Choose “I would like my site to be private, visible only to myself and users I choose” under Settings > Reading on your Dashboard. Here’s a support article that shows you how you may go about doing so:

  If your blog is already private, you would be able to view and manage followers in the same screen. Here’s an article that shows this in action:
