  Hello… I started a Christian blog. soulharvestrestoration.wordpress.com and I am trying to get more people to follow and view the page. I am trying to get some advice so more people can follow and comment. Also, on the page, there used to be a widget part on the right hand side but I removed it and I was wondering if that was part of the reason that I do not have people visiting. I have never used wordpress and I started blogging last month and any advice would be accepted. Thank You.

  There’s lots of different things you can do to help people find and read your blog, but please understand that it’s not an instant process and it takes time to build a following on a new blog.

  Here’s some things to get you started:

  1. Take a look at the “Use your Network” section on this page for some tips on how to use social media to promote your blog and find more readers: https://en.support.wordpress.com/connect/

  2. Here’s some other resources and tips to get more readers to your site: https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-more-views-and-traffic/

  No, removing a widget is not supposed to have a negative effect at all on your blog’s traffic.
