Chrome display problem
-
Blog does not display properly on Chrome. Had a visitor write in with the following:
Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The words in your post seem to be running off the screen in Chrome.
I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know.
The layout look great though! Hope you get the problem fixed soon. Thanks
I responded that I use Chrome on my laptop and have no problem. Are there issues that can be addressed by the reader?

Hi Dennis,
Great site! I love the pictures :) I checked your site with Chrome in Mac and did not see any issues. I was unable to test on Windows because it is a private site. I viewed the homepage as well as 5-6 single posts. The user states:
The words in your post seem to be running off the screen in Chrome.
Could it be that they are referring to a single post? It might be a good idea to ask them for the address of the post that they see the error on. Once we know that we can take a look and see if anything is out of sorts.

Michael, you were actually looking at a backup site that we built when I accidentally permanently deleted the real site. What a disaster that was. Michelle W. got things in gear and saved the site, though. I bow my head in her direction once daily.
Our real site is http://vialucispress.wordpress.com/.
The person was talking about the “sticky” post, “Welcome to the Via Lucis Blog for Romanesque Photography”.Thanks for your kind words on the site. Over 300 articles and 1800 photos later, we are still going strong! We love WordPress, by the way.

Dennis, I took a look at the post you mentioned in Chrome and didn’t see any issues with the text running off the screen. I did some additional testing and couldn’t reproduce the problem your site visitor mentioned.
If you would like, I can continue looking into this for you. A couple pieces of information from that visitor would be helpful:
– A screenshot of what they are seeing on your site. (They can use an online service such as Snaggy to share the screenshoot.)
– Additional information about their operating system and the version of Chrome they are using. They can visit Support Details to find this information, if needed.

Rachel, thanks for this. I’ll check to see if she can supply me with the screenshot and information. If not, I always appreciate your help at WP.
