Chrome for Ubuntu not (up)loading image(s) for Gravatar account.

    I opened an account with Gravatar, which went fine. I tried to upload an image, which seemed to go fine, until it got to the cropping stage. I chose to upload a picture from my hard drive and it apparently failed somewhere along the line. Uploading an image via url, and it worked perfectly (twice).

    It won’t load the image that was (possibly) uploaded from my hard drive.
    The error in the chrome dev tools console window says the image url comes back 404 for both the cropping tool and the previews thumbnails. So either the url is mal-formed, or the picture didn’t upload properly.

    OS: Ubuntu 14
    Browser: Chrome 38.0.2125.104 (64-bit)
    IP-puzzle: [Mexican IP address]

    I went back and tried uploading an image via url and it worked fine (twice). Everything else on Gravatar worked great.

    I do *NOT* need help with my blog. This was the forum I was directed to from Gravatar’s site. Yes, beehollander is me, but I don’t need any help with that.
