    Hi there,

    I see that we do show a “domain connection” on your account for jsuttongallery.com. You can confirm here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

    To explain, this upgrade is for when you have your domain with another company (like GoDaddy) and want to use it as the address of your WordPress.com site. However, it is not the same as a domain transfer. The domain jsuttongallery.com is still with the original provider.

    Do you recall if you renewed jsuttongallery.com with your original provider? I see that the domain settings were changed on that end (to disconnect the domain from your site here) and this is common in cases where the domain is in expiration.
