Chronicle Theme – No Blog post images

    I only want some posts to appear in homepage slider so I do not want them all to have a featured image. I thought another image would be selected for the front page blog posts but without a featured image selected there is not default image at all. Not sure if it is a problem with my site as there were default images appearing earlier but not now.

    Hi there – I’m not sure i understand what you want to happen?

    Perhaps if I explain how the post thumbnails in Chronicle work then that will help.

    If there is a featured image then Chronicle uses that. If there’s no featured image then Chronicle looks to see if there’s been an image uploaded to that blog post – and if it has then it shows that instead. If it hasn’t then no image will display.

    Also – note that in the future it would be better if you post on the official support forum for Chronicle – I check that more often so am likely to reply quicker.
