Chronological Order set by mistake
-
I just set up my new page. Somehow, inadvertently, I have apparently set it to chronological order instead of reverse, as usual. No clue how it happened. I can’t find the place to fix it. I’ve done two posts and the older one is the first you see when you go to the page. Helpl!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Reverse chronological order is the default setting and forcing posts to show in chronological order generally takes some fiddling. So I think your settings are probably OK.
But I see that both posts were published today — my guess is that the newer post actually has an older publication time than the earlier post. You can change the publication time for any post by opening the post in question and clicking the publication date to open the calendar drop-down — the publication time is in the two little boxes under the calendar.

An alternative would be to change your first post’s date to yesterday and leave the second post with today’s date. Either way, the goal is to force WordPress to see the timing of the posts the way you want it to.

The time stamp on them, on the dashboard, is many hours apart. I am heading in soon to write a new post, guess we will see what WP does then, :( So far, I’m wishing I had stuck to just purchasing a domain again and doing it myself. WP seems to be way more trouble than good. I had used Blogger for a dozen or so blogs a few years ago, but it has changed so much…and not for the better either. I’m not fond of change. :)

@bobbyelhudspeth It looks like changing the date on the post you wanted first did the trick to force WordPress to see the posts in the reverse chronological order you wanted. I can now see the posts in the right order so hopefully everything is working correctly for you now. :-)
