Chunk-theme: how to change the description?

  Hiya,
  I’d love to change my blog’s description, means getting rid of the grey shade behind it and just having plain, black letters.
  Any idea for a css-idiotesse (me) is very appreciated…!

  Do you mean this tagline?
  Wesentliche Begegnungen sind immer uralter Herkunft …
  If so then you can change it at any time here > Settings > General > Tagline

  However, if you think you can use CSS editing to enter a metadata description into the header section of the blog then that cannot be done. We cannot access metadata on free hosted WordPress.com blogs as they are all on the same multiuser blogging platform.

  Exactly that I mean.
  So I cannot change the appearance? Just black letters without the grey shade?
  I upgraded to pro cos I thought then I can change how my blog looks…

  Yes, you can change appearance and fonts and this upgrade does come with Staff support. But it’s the weekend so you will have to be patient while waiting for Staff help.

  You do not need to contact Staff. They will arrive and deal with all CSS editing threads in this CSS forum in accord with the dates the bloggers posted on ie. from the earliest date to the most recent date.

  Yeah, I have already searched for this particular thing concerning chunk on the forum but found nothing.
  Anyway – it will be solved sooner or later, I’m sure.

  Gradients are a little tricky (at least for me!) – try this to remove the grey background, and change the font color to black in the description/tagline:

  #site-description {
background: -moz-linear-gradient(#FFFFFF, #FFFFFF) repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF;
color: #000000;
}

  You can simplify that a little further even by setting all the background properties to none:

  #site-description {
  	background: none;
  	background-image: none;
  }
