Chunk theme, images unfocused
-
Hey guys,
I’m facing a problem with my blog. All the picture in my posts are somewhat unfocused and blurry. The difference between the clear original picture and the one on the post is not huge, but you can see it.
I would love my images to be as wide as the content text. I take good quality picture and resize them with an application on my Mac – so not doing that on WordPress. I usually upload my images around 900 x 700 px. If I’ve read my CSS right, my content area is about 770 px wide, so they should match “pretty well”?
I googled and found that the width for Chunk theme should be 580 px and tried that also, but the same thing happened.
I have inserted:
.entry-content a img, .entry-content a:hover img {
border: none;
width: 100%;
}to make the image match the content’s text.
The pics are uploaded sharp and clear, but they become unfocused and somewhat blurry in the post. I don’t know CSS almost at all, so I don’t know what I should do!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, I see that you have widened the theme. When you do that, you need to set a new Media Width in the field below the CSS edit area. Since there is 5px of padding on each side of .hentry .main, make that Media Width 740px.
With things the way you have them now (wider theme, but no new Media Width) you are asking the browser to increase the 580px width image that WordPress creates and inserts into your site to 750px, and browsers aren’t very good at that.
