Chunk Theme – Menu Bar missing?

    Hi,

I am using the Chunk theme for my blog. There is a “menu bar” area that spans horizontally above the blog posts, but there is nothing in it. When I first started the blog, there were menu items to choose from (Home and About, I believe). If you look at a screenshot of the Chunk Theme, those two “menu items” are labeled “A Parent Page” and “Readability”.

I still have the About page (I renamed it “Hi There”). I looked in my page menu and it’s published. But it isn’t showing up in the “menu bar.”

Can you help me figure out how to add those menu items back to the home “menu bar”?

    Thanks in advance

Did you perhaps delete the about page from your site? By default, the menu only shows pages that you have published. If you have no published pages, then the menu bar is blank. What exactly did you want to put into that menu bar?

I always suggest creating a custom menu since it gives you much greater control and flexibility and allows you to put things other than pages into the menu, such as categories, tags, external links, etc., and it allows you to organize them as you desire, even creating dropdown sub menus.

Thank you! I don’t know how I fixed it, but I went to custom menus and added back the Home page, and figured it out from there.
