Hi, I was hoping you can help me claim a domain name : jhesy.wordpress.com.
I checked and it’s an account that is inactive since 2009. I would really love to be able to use jhesy.wordpress.com

Hi @itsjhesy, we aren’t able to take a site from its current owner and give it to someone else, even if it is in inactive. You could ask them if they’re willing to change ownership, though. Try commenting on a post to ask if they’re willing to let you us it. If they are, we can walk them through the switch, or they can use this:
