claiming an unavailable URL

  Trying to register scootcowboy.wordpress.com as a new blog. Says its unavailable – but when I go to the URL it says “scootcowboy.wordpress.com is no longer available”. I think I might have registered that using an old address in the past that I’ve forgotten. Or it might just be someone else who’s not using it..

  …Question is – is there any way for me to get that URL?

  Unfortunately, no. Whenever a site URL is deleted by a user, it is gone forever, and it won’t be made available again for anyone, ever. No exceptions.
