Claiming Website with Pinterest tag

I am looking to ‘claim’ my website through Pinterest, this can be achieved by adding an HTML tag to the or TXT record to the domain host, or upload an html file to the website’s root directory. I am struggling to understand which is the best method since I have a WordPress business plan. Could someone please recommend what method to use and how to find where to add the tag, record, or file?

    Hi there!

Both the TXT and HTML tag methods are the easiest ways to do this. TXT records can take some time to propagate, so I recommend adding the HTML tag to your site.

First, you need to copy the HTML tag and head over to My Site → Tools → Marketing → Traffic. Scroll down till you find the “Site verification services” and paste the code in the Pinterest box. Click Save Settings when done.

I see that there’s an HTML tag for Pinterest on your site. If you added it recently, you can now try to verify your site with Pinterest, and it should work as expected.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to learn more about the site you’re creating with us. Would you mind telling us more about your new site? What’s the site for, and what features do you need on the site? Based on your site requirements, we’ll be happy to share specific guides and suggestions and help you accordingly.

    Hope that helps!
