Clarification about subscription

  1. I would like to verify if it is right that we can share or post files that can be freely access by our guest without them logging-in in WordPress.com?
  2. Another one is that as I was creating a post it can’t be posted yet and cannot be share, do we need to pay first the subscription before we can do a posting?

  Could you please elaborate on which file you are talking about?

  If your are talking about Media library, you can upload files to the media library and then post their links on a private or password-protected page, and then it requires login to access that file.
  The media library, however, will also be public if the site is set to public, which means anyone with the link can access the files, and they can also be indexed by search engines.

  The process of creating and sharing posts has nothing to do with a paid subscription.
