Clarification Header Image

Hello,
I know this may sound silly for some of you but i ned to know what do theese fields do when uploading a image to serve as a header
Caption, alt text and desccription. What am i suppose to write there.
Also, for the SEO, if i use a just the image header and do not fill site title and tagline will it matter ?

The site header is a background image.
Background images can’t have alt text. They won’t use captions or the description option either, you can leave those blank.
For your site, using the site logo might be a better option than adding a header image.
Header images (background images) can’t be clicked or linked, but site logos can.
For SEO, the title and tagline should always be filled in. Search engines pick up this info from the site’s html, then use it for ranking purposes. It’ll also be displayed at the top of your browser bar.
If you want to hide them from visitors to your site, you disable the option to “display the Site Title and Tagline” in the customizer in My Sites > Customize > Site Identity.
