Clarity on “Getting payments from 60 countries” in Business Plan

  • Unknown's avatar

Till date using self-hosted WordPress, now trying to upgrade to WP.com. But looking at the Plans, I am confused about the above topic. Does it mean I cannot accept payments from my home country at all, or for other countries? (My client does not need an ecommerce site as it is a simple wellness site with only a few paid services)

Is there any tutorial on the plans? I did not find any on YT

    Thanks

  • Hi there,

The Business Plan can absolutely accept payments depending on what plugins people install. I believe the only difference is that the eCommerce Plan has specific plugins and features pre-installed from the go, which can make things a bit easier. But you should absolutely have the ability to accept payments from other countries. Since your client’s site only needs a few paid services, the Business Plan will more than suffice, as it has plugin integration:

Our Plan support page does a good job breaking down each plan and their respective features:

You can check out the features specific to the Business Plan here:

Hope this helps, but please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!
