Classic Editor

  I’ve just started a new site newhorizonscounsellinghighland.wordpress.com. I can only access the Block Editor – classic editor is not there. I’ve deliberately switched to an old theme – twenty twelve – which I use on another blog with classic editor but the option just doesn’t exist on new blog. Can an admin enable it for me please as I’ve seen happen for another user in a similar forum post? Thanks

  Hi there,

  We have started the process of deprecating the classic editor as was announced at https://wordpress.com/blog/2020/05/18/say-hello-to-the-wordpress-block-editor/, so I can switch it for you, but you’ll likely find yourself back in the block editor before the end of the week.

  From my understanding it should be possible to still use the classic editor in WP-Admin, but I don’t see that option for your site. I’ve asked the team handling this change for more details on this, and will get back to you as soon as I have more information.

  For now, please try using the classic block instead:
