Classic editor

  I have kept the classic editor, and wish i had continued. I hate the new one, and my blog has become useless now. I’ve been trying to go back, but the system apparantly won’t allow me to save in classic. The classic editor setting clearly isn’t below deafult post format in Writing. Hope there’s a fix to this. I’d hate to start over again.

  That’s correct. The classic editor isn’t a post format, so it shouldn’t be there. See the Classic Editor section of the Editors support page for information on how to access WP-Admin and the Classic Editor.

  Your account is 9 years old. With this account you may switch any site in the account to classic by clicking the “Switch to Classic” option at the bottom of Settings in the Block Editor. Newer accounts don’t have this option, and require asking staff to make the switch for you.

  Correction:
  You may switch any site in the account to classic by clicking the “Switch to Classic Editor” option at the bottom of the “More tools and options” module. This module is accessed by clicking the three-dot icon at the far right of the menu at the top of the Block Editor. It’s two icons to the right of the Settings icon.
