Classic Editor

Hello!
When adding posts through WPAdmin, I cannot see drop down menu to choose Classic Editor as it is discribed in Help. Please help me!
If there is posibility, please how can I make it default editor? Not that I cannot adapt to change, but new editor is very rough to use, I write articles faster in the old one and it laks some features I need.
Thanks!

When you go to https://simsoneblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
…which editor do you see? If it is the new block editor, click on the three dots in the upper right corner and at the bottom of the pop up menu will be a “switch to classic editor” link.

I really don’t know the point of using Block. I tried it and then 2 paragraphs with twitter quotes that I wrote just disappeared so I had to rewrote. Also, I always wrote my draft in code editor first before visual editor since it looked clean, I could resize my pictures and edit everything including the twitter quotes easily. But now both the code and visual editor just got me frustrated. I need to get my articles done real quick and I really have no time to fix things here and there. So, for the love of GOD, please let me back to Classic Editor!

I now hate blogging because of this stupid block system. It used to be so easy and enjoyable but now I don’t want to update my blogs, some of which are over 20 years old. How to really piss off your users…

You can still switch to the classic editor when writing/editing posts/pages in your site’s Dashboard: https://wordpress.com/support/dashboard/
With that said, we do recommend the new editor though, and we have tips for transitioning from the classic editor to blocks https://wordpress.com/support/switching-from-the-classic-to-the-block-editor/ and FAQs: https://wordpress.com/support/replacing-the-older-wordpress-com-editor-with-the-wordpress-block-editor/#frequently-asked-questions
And, if you really want to use something like the classic editor, we recommend sticking with the classic block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/classic-block/
We also have some extensive documentation available at https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/

Hello!
I don’t know how you cannot understand that many of your users, your customers DON’T WANT BLOCK EDITOR.
Classic block and classic editor found on the dashbord are not the same as it was the old editor. They are rough, they lack some features of it and they have certain flaws.
A question to the staff: OK, It may that there are users that are shine and happy using new block editor, but why not giving people possibility, when opening their post (on their home page, not on the dashboard) to open it in one or the other mode.
The block mode (so glorious and super duper) may perhaps be the default option, but user may still have chance to change it in preferences, so it opens by default in classic editor IT USED TO BE (not dashboard classic editor, not classic block). The user (if later willing to accept a ‘true’ religion) would still have a chance to convert posts to blocks.
Let someone from the staff please tell me if this is possible, and if not, why?
Thanks in advance and kind regards!

As our developers switch over to creating new tools and blocks for the block editor, we are not able to devote resources to keeping the classic editor up to date and fully functional on our service.
Also we’ve reached the limits of our ability to add new features to the classic editor due to the tech that underpins it, so any new features we release will be on the block editor only going forward.
Is there something specific you are finding difficult about using blocks? I’d like to get that feedback before our engineers so they can consider it as they work to improve and launch new features on the block editor, thanks!
