Classic Editor
-
For some reason, the classic editor on wordpress.com is now gone. There used to be a button to switch to it, and I can no longer find that either.
Does anyone know how to switch to classic view on wordpress.com?
I elect to pay the larger price of service with wordpress.com due to the extra security no other hosting service could offer me.
Thank you and regards to all that can offer help.

Pardon? I am confused? I mean my personal wordpress.com site cannot obtain the classic editor, either in safari or firefox? Does the actual URL matter, if it’s a global issue?
Pardon me if I seem confused by the question.
I saw you attempted to answer this in another forum, which is now closed, and none of those methods work. I even cleared all of my cookies in firefox in an attempt to restore the classic editor. Nothing. Even hovering over the title did not work.

The link you refer to was removed on March 18th, 2015 and will not be provided again.
The Admin login link for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/You cannot deactivate the new Beep Beep Boop editor but you do not have to use it. For locating the ways and means of accessing the legacy or classic pages for creating posts, editing posts, and for viewing stats see here > Navigating the Classic WordPress.COM interface http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2015/04/05/navigating-the-classic-wordpress-com-interface/
On the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
To create posts in the classic editorhttp://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
On the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts one can hover over any post title and click the Edit link. and proceed with editing. -
You have posted several threads in the past https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/neonplasticlotus but have never stated exactly what your URL is. As 30% of those who post here every day ought to be posting to http://wordpress.ORG/support because we do not provide support for wordpress.ORG software installs I require the URL of the site you refer to in order to provide accurate answers. Post it now please.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_PageSee also https://apps.wordpress.org/support/

I elect to pay the larger price of service with wordpress.com due to the extra security no other hosting service could offer me.
There is no extra security when one purchase upgrades from wordpress.COM for a wordpress.COM hosted site so I do not know what you are referring to.

I believe i stated above that my site is HOSTED by wordpress.com
My site is spammed every day, therefore wordpress filters that. It’s called security.
The “onecoolsite” link does not work. If I could post images here, I would show you what it brings up, which is a general page, with links to other “related” pages.
If it’s your page, it’s been hacked.
Again, considering it is a GLOBAL issue of wordpress.com hosted sites, my URL should not matter (though it’s a paid for site, hosted by wordpress.com) as the solution should be a GENERAL solution.

correction:
The “onecoolsite” does not work in firefox. As I am attempting to edit in firefox, that’s still an issue.

I believe i stated above that my site is HOSTED by wordpress.com
I clearly stated that I need you to provide the URL of the exact site you refer to in order to provide accurate answers to your questions. I even explained why that is above.
If you refuse to provide the URL, which is required every time we post here, and you refer to a site that is actually hosted by wordpress.COM, rather than a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting, then you will have to contact Staff.
If you’re a WordPress.com Business subscriber https://store.wordpress.com/plans/business/, you’ll have access to priority Live Chat Support (7am-7pm US EST).
All WordPress.COM support docs are here https://en.support.wordpress.com/
Type in live chat support and click search https://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=live+chat+support

If you have a paid upgrade, please use the “Contact Support” form, http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ where you will receive a choice of having staff answer your question publicly or privately.
You can email Staff at:

However, now that I can access the site in safari, I am now able to obtain the classic editor in firefox, due to the now accurate description given above. I’ve no idea what happened to the link on your closed forum topic.

As you will not simply imply post the URL starting with http:// for the site you need help with I am referring to to Staff. Contact therm directly please as I described here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/classic-editor-7?replies=10#post-2514803
