Classic Editor

  After keeping a WP blog for 10 years, I have struggled with the blog editor, and got so frustrated last time with it that I just want to go back to the Classic Editor, but despite googling around, I can’t figure out how to do that. I have a long piece I spent about 8 hours on and now am I kinda frustated that I can’t easily post it.

  Hi there,

  If I can ask, why are you not able to easily post it? What tools from the classic editor that you would normally use are missing from the block editor?

  By the way, it is possible to use our “classic block” which is a block you can add to insert the classic editor inside of the newer block editor, and has the familiar formatting tools you are used to: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/classic-block/

  However, as I mentioned I would not mind knowing what it is about the block editor that is holding you back so we can make sure to provide that feedback to our engineers to help improve the block editor. Thanks for the additional info!
