CLASSIC EDITOR SEPT 2020

  When I push the “SWITCH TO CLASSIC EDITOR” Button, it does not follow the command. I want to use classic editor because the new format is unnecessary and confusing. Please tell me how to switch back to my original editor. Thanks!

  Hi,

  You can try to use the classic editor using WP Admin.

  If you did not know already the classic editor is being retired.

  There is a classic block that is similar to the classic editor.

  In my opinion (I am a volunteer) you might find that using blocks is not as difficult as it may seem with some practice.

  Hi there, I’ve added a tag for Staff attention and input because a Staff member seemed to indicate in this thread https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/classic-editor-61/#post-3561078 that clicking that switch (if you still have it) should work. Thanks for your patience while they get back to you.
