Classic stats format changed without warning

  I have been using the “classic” stats view, but yesterday (19th September 2025) it changed to a new format. How do I change back to the classic stats? I have checked old questions from the previous changes but I can’t find anything that works.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  dougaj4 I have the same problem since yesterday. I asked the same question, but WP refuse to answer me: https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/where-has-my-stats-page-gone/

  The “new” Stats View is ugly, uninformative and unhelpful.

  I also just discovered that arse-ugly “updated” stats page is all I can access! It makes me so angry and annoyed when these unwanted changes are foisted on us by surprise, with no way to get back to the tried and true interfaces we never had any complaints about.

  Still no response from WordPress on this.

  Just to clarify, the question is not whether the new format is better or worse than the old one. The point is that until last weekend the classic format was available to anybody who wanted it, but now it seems that it isn’t. I would very much like access to the classic stats format to be restored, that’s all.

  @dougaj4 me too! I’ve had a blog on WordPress for 15 years. I can no longer see which posts are being looked at on a daily basis and I can’t see how many people looked at my blog, day to day over the course of a month.

  So, is WordPress ever going to get around to telling us what happened and how to get the classic stats page back, or are we stuck with this less functional, ugly monstrosity forever?

  Hi, everyone. Thank you so much for all the feedback here.

  @dougaj4 and @baryshnitsa, to avoid resharing the same info on this topic, I’d like to redirect us all to the explanation given in the same topic @maddogtvdinners shared.

  That topic is already closed, but if you have other feedback you’d like to share here, please do. I’d like to make sure those are reported as possible enhancements.

  What I see so far is:

  • The new stats page/s do not show us clearly which posts were looked at today, and we don’t know which links were clicked.
  • We can’t see how many people visited our blogs on a certain period
  • Anything else?
