Classic Theme to Full site editing

If I have a Classic Theme can I switch to a Full site editing Theme, but maintain exactly the same contents and Appearance?

Please, which FREE Theme may allow this. Now I enjoy Canape Theme, but I would like to use your Beta Editor (i.e., Full Site Editing). Thanks!

Please, any recommendation about the easiest Theme to set up with the most/best features? Thank you!

  • Howdy –

I’ll be happy to help. Below is a very helpful page with details on how this works and a video.

Site Editing (formerly known as Full Site Editing or FSE) is a collection of interrelated features that unlocks the ability to edit your entire site using blocks. This allows you to take advantage of the familiar and flexible experience of the Block Editor in more places. Thank you for these videos! Now I use the zoologist theme since it has many features. But I still am not able to understand how what I work on Customize synchronizes with the Block editor creating blank pages.

Please, how can I get all together? E.g, I would like to have the same banner on the top including the menu and search; but when I created a “new page” with Edit Blocks/FSE, the blank page does not have the banner (:

Should I create the new page in another way (instead of Add New Page) pls?
