Classical Page View and Edit

    I am trying to add a page in the Classical View but only seem to be able to add pages with Blocks – am I no longer able to use Classical View for new pages &c ?

    Hi there!

    The Classic Editor is still available and you can follow the instructions here to edit a page or a post using the classic editor: https://wordpress.com/support/classic-editor-guide/

    However, it will be phased out eventually, so we strongly suggest taking some time to try out the block editor. The block editor receives tons of new features that the classic editor doesn’t.

    Hi aisajib

    Unfortunately for me I’m not particularly tech savvy, so learning new stuff comes hard. Even though I’ve been operating a number of WordPress sites for about 5 years I couldn’t really say I’ve got to grips with the Classical Editor, so the thought of starting afresh with the Block Editor us daunting.
    I will have a look at the links you have sent me and see if it (they) throw up any supplementary questions.
