classified comments as spam but were not

  There are comments which have been classified as spam and I can not access them. I have found other messages classified as spam and were not spam after all.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Under comments in your dashboard, click on the “spam” link at top and approve the comments. Akismet will then learn, but it might take a day or two, and it might take a couple of approvals for it to take effect.

  I have had a similar problem but some of the posts (from the same user) have been designated spam and some haven’t so it seems very inconsistent. Even users that comment everyday have occassionally gone into the spam folder so simply approving users doesn’t seem to work. Is there a way to turn the spam filter off or make it less sensitive?

  I have had precisely the same problem with some of my users that beccy83 has had. I suggest you do what I did – contact Akismet and tell them exactly what has happened. They fixed my problem very quickly.
