Classifieds, iFrame, something…geez

    Hello,

Looking for the incredibly limited amount of control that you have over these pages is saddening. We want to create a staff page that allows posting, classified ads (or just a form of buy/trade/sell), some type of iFrame, etc.

After dropping over $100 just to try to get something that would work, I come to find out that the premium doesn’t offer anything extra in terms of actual use for the site.

You would think that some type of classifieds section, iFrame, embedding, etc would be available to people who are PAYING for your service, but instead, the only difference is the ads. Which, frankly, I could put up if I were able to actually do more useful things.

Please get some more widgets, plugins, etc on this. At the very least, make it so that people can use wordpress.ORG things on here. If nothing else changes soon, I am going to drop everything and completely switch, because to pay for literally nothing extra is just useless.

    Seriously. Get more things.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Clearly it seems that you chose the wrong wordpress for your needs. It seems that a self hosted WordPress.ORG install on paid hosting would be a better choice for you.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read all the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.

You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew.

WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

Excellent, thank you for the prompt reply. I shall be asking for a refund and switching to WordPress.org.

My requests are very low maintenance, but it seems they are out of the wheelhouse of what WordPress.com can offer.
