  Is it possible for me to delete all the content of my site without deleting the account?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It sounds like you are trying to delete your site, but keep your WordPress account.

  Take a look at this section of the support forum to see if it mentions what you are trying to do and follow those direction. https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  If not, please explain what you want to do.

  I deleted my blogsite a long while back but kept my account thinking I could just use that account again for a new purpose I wanted. I now want to start using this site address again for a new blog, however, it seems I cannot do this. I can create new blogs under the account name with different names, but not the main name that I actually want. Is there a “fix” for this I am not seeing?

  I’m definitely not the expert here, but from what I was reading when I was attempting to delete my site was that there was a pretty stern warning that I would never be able to use that again if I deleted it.

  Once you delete a site from wordpress.com, the url cannot be reused. Take a look at https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Yes I did this before I really understood that I could never use it again (several years ago). I was hoping since I still can log in to the domain and create new blogsites under the address that this had been changed. Nobody else can use it now except me so this seems a little strange.
