Cleaning the upload folder in wp-content

    Hello friends, I noticed the upload folder within WordPress takes quite a bit of space and it is mainly made of what is seems all the images I have uploaded since the beginning plus every single bit of editing and a lot of redundant stuff. Is there an automatized way to clean that folder and keep only what I am actively using?

    As some suggested, I tried a plugin called Media Cleaner. That is not enough though. For some reason, maybe that is what normally happen, all the uploaded medias have been resized and replicated several times as you can see.

    It seems that when I load the page only one of them is used. I am not sure whether all the others have a purpose or not. The site is translated in two languages with Polylang.
