Clear Cache
-
I need to clear my wordpress cache. Very frustrating when starting a build and my changes are not appearing. The menu isn’t updating; the home page editor opens to an old copy rather than the most current design; secondary pages aren’t updated at all.
WP.com: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi there,
I noticed you edited the “page template” directly, which is the template that is used as the starting point for all pages on your site: https://ftcsandbox.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=gutenberg-edit-site&postType=page&postId=6
To clarify, the “page template” is usually blank and serves as a container to display the content you enter. It appears you have removed the “page content” section of the template and replaced it with manually entered contents instead.
That is why the content here is not displayed on your homepage: https://ftcsandbox.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=6&action=edit
So that I’m sure I understand, are you trying to replace your existing homepage content with the content shown at the editor link above? Or are you trying to do something else like combine the content of both instead?
Thanks for the additional info!

Welp… at no point was I intending to edit the page template, and that explains a lot -_-
Thanks 😂

Hi @kandiseftc,
Full site editing (FSE) might be a little tricky at first, and here’s a great resource to help you learn more: https://learn.wordpress.org/course/simple-site-design-with-full-site-editing/
