Clear cache at wordpress.com
-
I’m helping someone set up a website on wordpress.com, and the changes I make sometimes take a while to appear in a browser.
For example, if I change the settings on testimonials from 3 columns to 1 column, I can see the changes when I click on Preview after Updating. When I check how it looks in a different browser, however, I still see 3 columns despite clearing the browser cache.
Eventually after a few minutes, the different browsers will show the 1 column, which leads me to think the page is being cached at wordpress.com. How can I clear the cache at the server?
Thanks,

Hi there, that is not something that users have access to.
Try doing a hard refresh of the web browser window https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#force-refresh

Thanks for letting me know.
Clearing browser cache and doing a hard refresh did not address the problem. I guess I’ll just have to wait a few minutes before testing in a different browser.

Have you used the Customizer to make these changes? https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/
Any changes you make in the Customizer can be immediately seen in the Customizer. They won’t be live on your site until you hit the save and publish button.
