  To empty the site, please see these steps here:

  If you want to export the content, you can export the content into an XML or zip file containing XML. It will export your posts, pages, comments, categories, and tags. For more details, check the below guide:-

  The above approach will not save your media files and it will give you a digital copy of everything in XML format that you can use to upload again on another service. It’s not meant to be “readable” though. You can’t print it out.

  If you want to use media, then keep them on your system and if readable required then copy and paste the content from the editor to a word document or similar on your computer.
