  I am trying to delete my site but 4 years ago i bought a theme that never expires and so it won’t let me delete my site entirely because it says i have purchased settings on my site. I would like to delete my site and address if possible, if not, i would like all of my posts and content deleted at the least. thanks

  Hi there,

  You have two options for clearing site content:
  (1) Doing this quickly and easily yourself via bulk deletion http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/
  (2) Waiting in a queue and having Staff do it for you.

  Do you want Staff to transfer the premium theme to another wordpress.COM hosted site that you have registered?

  Premium themes have to be removed by Staff or transferred to another WordPress.COM hosted site of yours before the site they are on currently can be deleted. Deleting a site with upgrades https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/#deleting%C2%A0a-site-with-upgrades

  I’d like to have the staff remove the premium theme and delete my website entirely. I don’t need the theme transferred to another wordpress site, as I no longer use wordpress for anything. thanks

  Thanks for the clarity. Staff will respond here as soon as they can. After they remove the premium theme you will be able to delete the site. The guide is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ note the alternatives provided there.

  Hi there,

  You in fact had two Premium Themes on your site. I’ve removed both, so you should now be able to delete your site via My Site ->Settings.
