In trying to set up some widgets, I have one showing on the site that I don’t want, can’t get rid of as it does not show in the widget page of the dashboard. When blog is opened, the first thing you see is “NOTHING FOUND” in bold letters and I can’t clear it. I don’t have this problem on my other blog which uses the same theme page.

    this is my blog: http://2footer.wordpress.com/

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Nothing Found
Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.

As soon as you publish a post not a page the error message will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

Every theme has a “default sidebar display” which does not contain actual widgets. The first time you move a single widget in any theme here > Appearance > Widgets the “default display” which does not contain actual widgets will disappear. You simply select and install the ones you want and they will replace the default display.
