  Can you empty my site content but keep my site address?

  Hi there,

  It looks like you can do this yourself by going to your WordPress admin panel > Settings and scroll down to Delete your content. This function allows you to keep your site’s address and theme but removes all posts, pages and media so that you can start again.

  Candi,
  Thanks for replying so quickly. Unfortunately, the recommendation doesn’t match with the description of the action desired. Account Settings>Delete Account is available, but not only content. I don’t want to delete the account.

  Also, I followed the extensive instructions for deleting account content, as posted on the website. It requested I contact customer support, but the content it asked that I post simply posted to the forum, not to any WordPress customer support. In both cases, the forum instructions do not seem to match my request (even though my request is following the instructions WordPress gave me).

  I appreciate your involvement in the community here!

  Hi Michael,

  Thanks for your message. I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

  The Delete your Content option is at the following address (site settings, not account settings) WordPress.com/settings/general/”yoursiteaddress”

  You can find this by selecting ‘My Site’ and scrolling down to ‘Settings’ in the left-hand side menu.

  If it isn’t showing up there at all, I would recommend contacting one of the Happiness Engineers at WordPress.com to give you a hand :)
