clearing notifications

    Hi all,

    Can someone please help me clear all my old notifications? I haven’t logged in here for several years, and now am looking to majorly overhaul my site and move it elsewhere. As I’m going through content and deciding what I do and don’t want to keep, my notifications keep getting in the way. I guess I have two questions:

    1. How do I bulk mark everything as read? It looks like I’ve been able to mark a couple of my notifications as read, but there are still a large number that aren’t marked as read.
    2. Will marking all of these as read keep the notifications area from popping up on every page? The main issue is that no matter how many times I collapse the notifications area, it expands again as soon as I switch pages, and my screen reader decides it needs to read my notifications, which I don’t care about as they’re all years old.
