Click click CLICK! Why can't I just access my site?
-
This is so frustrating. I just want to click onto “My SItes” and go to a list of the sites … not to the stats page. The only way I can go directly is to click a listed read blog piece.
Why so much clicking? Anyone who designs website knows that excess scrolling and clicking are to be avoided. Word Press is gradually making everything from its “upgraded ” stats page to the ordinary home page, more and more cumbersome.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @nikkitytom
When you click on My Sites, you should be able to go directly to your blog’s dashboard by clicking the WP-Admin link. Even simpler is to just bookmark your dashboard(s) in your browser, so you never have to see the My Sites page. That’s what I’m doing. We’re also currently giving feedback on the new editor in this thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-reinstate-the-option-of-choice-to-use-the-old-publishing-format?replies=336 Go add your voice there, for what it’s worth – it seems like WordPress.com has already made up their minds about this.

Hi Kokkieh
Thanks …
What about a simple My SItes …. ONE click brings up the list of sites. That’s it.
What’s the matter with these kids who are engineering this stuff?
Now we get Click onto MY sites
Click onto WP Admin
“Mouse over My SItes . or you’re back in the mobius loop
“Mouse over “Switch SItes”Heave a sigh of exasperated relief.
The other option is to Click onto My SItes …. then click”switch sites under the primary site listed. Then click onto desired site.
Which is faster. The other is to have my five blogs bookmarked on my tool menu
WHO is designing this stuff. This is NOT professional

I agree with you 100%. According to a staff response in the other thread I linked above the My Sites setup is actually supposed to make it easier to manage all your sites from one place. Please go leave your feedback in the other thread and tell them that’s not the case.
