click on picture not working

  Hi,
  Please help: In some of my last posts when you click on the picture published the picture does not open anymore with the description to it. I have tried everything, changed the picture, made a new post, etc. pictures can not be opened to show description included for them. I have enough memory left on my blog.

  Looking at the source code of that post, it seems like some images were not linked to their relative attachment page (Link to:Post URL) when they were inserted in your post. You can correct this if you wish by editing your post.

  However, there is a much faster way to insert full size images in a post or page by using a Gallery. See here for an example: http://agallerydemo.wordpress.com/2011/03/20/full-width-gallery-post/

  Thanks for the great advise. The gallery is a great alternative, however, l still have the issue why pictures are not getting linked when I am uploading them to the post…I edited the same post 2x with same pictures, but pictures did not get linked, with the gallery they do, anything I am doing wrong? I had another post with same issue and 50% of pictures did not get linked, I even changed pictures and same problem remained.

  First off, if you have a lot of images in a post, it’s much less time-consuming to upload and display via a Gallery especially since the whole point of your images is to have readers navigate between the attachment pages to read the descriptions.

  If you’d still rather do it one by one, at the time of inserting the image make sure that the Post URL option is what you’ve chosen before inserting the image. See here: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/04/26/images-the-three-link-options/
