Click-through link for blogging photos
-
Up until last Friday, when I clicked on the “New Post” page and posted a photo I could provide a click-through link to my Photo Shelter page. This would allow people to order prints. I worked very well because I could share my blog post on all my other social media, drive viewership to my WP site, and ultimately offer the viewer the chance to purchase prints via Photo Shelter, all by way of the click-through link option. Now that this option is no longer available in the “New Post” page I am not able to have viewer traffic flowing through my WP page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ve heard that there are a few bugs being worked on in the “New Post” method accessible from the top left WordPress logo. Does the same thing happen if you go through the dashboard -> posts -> new post, or: https://gthfoto.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php

There has been a change to the post editor interface at https://wordpress.com/post/ and Staff are recommending that we bypass the New Dash in favor of posting directly on our sites at Dashboard > Posts > Add New. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/where-did-the-add-media-button-go?replies=2#post-1927520For image uploading please note the Staff response here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/why-is-there-now-only-small-pictures-in-the-post-can-i-get-them-big-again?replies=3#post-1927594
NOTE: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/04/26/images-the-three-link-options/
“Custom URL“: clicking on the inserted image links to any webpage.
(Paste the URL of that webpage into the field below the pulldown.)There will be further new iterations of the post editor at https://wordpress.com/post/ and that is why the advice is to go to Dashboard > Post > Add New
