  Hi, I’ve created a page that has .jpg graphics of song lyric sheets. I have inserted 4 lyric sheets into the page. 2 of the lyric sheets will enlarge if clicked on (the hand appears when scrolling over them) but 2 of them don’t. They are all similar types of .jpgs. Any suggestions? Thanks! – Tommy

  HI there,

  It looks like two of the images are not wrapped in a link that redirects the reader to the full sized image.

  This should be easy enough to fix, and you shouldn’t need to upload the images again.

  Go to the editor for that page, and delete the images on the page (not from your Media Library). Then try adding them again. For each one, click the “Add media” button, click on the image, and then click the “Insert into post” button at the bottom of the media library. That should create a proper link to the full-sized image.

  Make sure you have the Attachment Display settings set to link to the media file:

  Thanks, that worked! One other question, I’d like to place text that says, “please click to enlarge” at the top of the page containing the pictures. How do I do this?

  You can edit the page itself to add text to the top or bottom of the page. To do so, you can either go to the page and click the “edit this page” link at the bottom, or log into your Dashboard and find the page under Pages > All pages and click “edit” from there. Just make sure to click “Update” when you’re done! :)
