Clickable Gallery Page

I recently switched to the Twenty Twelve theme and I love it. I was wondering if there was a way to make one of my pages where it’s a gallery of photos but each photo is clickable to a specific blog post. I want all the photos to show like a gallery rather than a continuous feed of an image with summary text like all my other pages. Here is an example of what I’m looking for

Hello there! It depends on what type of gallery you’re utilizing. This support document contains information about how to create images that link to other pages/posts:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/Slideshow galleries do not allow you to link an image to a post. However, one of our creative WordPress.com community members came up with a workaround that might suit you:

Thank you that was very helpful! I just have one other question. I’ve created the page and inserted the gallery as a Link to: none, and Type: square tiles. Then when I edit the gallery, I add a Link to: Custom URL under the ATTACHMENT DISPLAY SETTINGS but when I save it and preview it the image does not go to the URL is just goes to a larger view of the image. When I go back to the edit, the URL I added in is no longer there. Am I missing a step or option? Thanks so much!
