Clickable images in post
-
Hi,
I need the pictures in posts to be clickable and ready to be previewed.
As you can see, the thumbnail picture on top of the article is clickable and enlarged… That is exactly what I need with the seconds picture in the post. How do I achieve this please?

Hi there,
It looks like your site is self-hosted and is using the WordPress.org software. This forum is for WordPress.com which is a fully hosted version. You can see the difference between the two here:
You can post questions related to your site here:
https://wordpress.org/support/
However, I can advise you that in order to make the image clickable you would have to access the Advanced Options through your Wp Admin editor and then edit the image and choose the option for “Link To”. You will see a drop-down menu with four options: Media File; Attachment Page; Custom URL; None. Choose the desired one and update your post.
You can find more info here:

Well, Adding an image in the blog article is easy. Although, adding banners or images outside of your blog post like in the widget and footer is not that straightforward for new bloggers. When I was a new blogger, I also wonder about how to add a clickable banner in the WordPress widget while I visit someone else website and see beautiful banners in the header, sidebar, and footer that they were using to promote a special LP, Blog post or an affiliate offer.
