Clickable logo in header
-
Is it possible to have my logo at the top of my header be clickable to our website? I’m using Twenty Ten.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I will flag this thread so our Moderators move it to the CSS editing forum for you. Please be patient while waiting for a response.

@sptsiantos, you are using a premium theme which means you will have to post in the premium theme support forum. We volunteers do not have access to the premium themes and besides, part of what you are paying for with a premium theme is direct access to the theme team and the theme designer for support.

@unisoncu, yes this is possible but a bit tricky. You have to create a transparent PNG image with no background color that is the same size as the logo. Then you put that blank image into a text widget and link it to whatever you want the logo linked to, and then you use positioning in the CSS to specifically target that text widget by ID# and move it up and over the logo. We can help with this, but you have to have the image created and into the text widget and the text widget in the sidebar before we can do that.
On an unrelated, but important note, you have removed the wordpress footer information from the bottom of your site, and we are not allowed to do that here at wordpress.com and it can get sites suspended. You need to all the wordpress footer information back into the footer area.

@sptsiantos
oops! That link thesacredpath posted isn’t working. Please go here > Appearance > Themes and look for the “premium” link and click it to get to the Premium Themes Forum. -
@TT, the premium theme support link will only work for those that are using a premium theme. We mere peasants do not have access to it.

I fixed the bottom of my site. Sorry about that. I didn’t realized it had to be there. It’s back up.
I have my image created and it’s in the side widget. Can you help with the rest? -

Since you created a linked logo instead of a blank transparent PNG image, I’ve moved that up and to the top left and then gotten rid of the logo you had put into #site-title.
Add the following to the bottom of your custom CSS and see what you think. Also, make sure and look at the site while logged in to your account, and also while logged out to make sure the widget does not shift position on us. If it does, let me know and I can take another crack at it. Sometimes this is very easy and sometimes it can take a bit of head scratching, but I think the following will work.
#branding { position: relative; } #site-title { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; } #image-12 { left: 36px; position: absolute; top: 50px; } -
Ok I did that and it did seem to shift to the left. It does it when I’m logged in and out.

Ok one of those hiccups. Delete the first stuff I have you are replace it with the below.
#wrapper { position: relative; } #site-title { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; } #image-12 { left: 0; position: absolute; top: 35px; } -
