CLICKED LINKS
-
In my “CLICKS” it shows that someone clicked on …”interyield.jmp9.com”… Can someone tell me what that means?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I did find this, but I do not understand if that originated from my blog or is it in WordPress or did it get “FORCED” in my clicks? That link said not to worry about it, but I do not want my readers to have any problems.

I just found the same thing in my “clicks” today. This is not a link I have included anywhere on my blog so don’t know how one of my readers managed to click on it. What little I’ve been able to find out about it indicates it might be some kind of a virus related to browsers and pop-up ads (?). I’m concerned that somehow I’m unwittingly exposing my readers to something bad. Whatever this is, how did it get on my blog in a place where one of my readers was able to click on it?

I believe this maybe a malware on your computer or browser add-on issue but I could be wrong. I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

This was the first thread I read. Several others seem to indicate this is actually a type of spam. So far I’ve been unable to find any indications of malware on my computer (unlikely on a Mac, I’ve been told). I’ll be watching for any updates on the topic.
