I do not know. The stats page does not tell me which page a Clicked On link can be found. This link was listed in the box that in Links the readers / viewers clicked on area on the My Stats page. I went through the last week of posts, and could not find this link on any posts. Yet Stats is telling me a viewer somehow clicked on this ad link that I did not put there.

I went back to check my Stats page. It is found where click on links from your blog appears. This appeared today. Never seen this before, and I have maintained this site for 2 years.

Use the Omnisearch function (Dashboard >> Omnisearch) – to search for the link (also try part of the link like the main URL) – Omnisearch will search everything (Posts, Pages, Comments etc) for the link – saves a lot of trouble
The staff have in the past indicated that sometimes the Stats system grabs feedback from an infected browser and shows that as a click off your site when the link was never on your site – that still confuses me a bit but I had the staff look at a couple of the funny clicks and they indicated some false Stat from a bad visit – said no risk to my blog and a fake click

I tried Omnisearch. This URL does not appear anywhere as a clickable link on my blog. Therefore it must be some “fake click.” Not sure how this could happen, but I guess everything is okay with my blog. Thank you for your help! I was getting worried that my blog was compromised and that my readers would be subjected to ad malware.

Which begs the question whether TF is now an ad partner on WPcom.
@erin2012 – if you haven’t, you might want to connect your site to Google Webmaster tools. They also keep track of whether your site has a known security issue, such as malware (which would be highly unusual unless you’ve unknowingly linked to malware content).
