Clicking image goes to an odd page that displays the image

    Hi.

    I recently went back to my blog and noticed something weird happening. When clicking on an image, it’s supposed to take you to a blank page (gray background in Firefox) with the image isolated. Now, every image I click any image, it brings me to to this:

    Then I have to click on that center image to actually get to the blank page with the isolated image.

    In my time on here since 2009, this is the first time I’m seeing this happen. What’s the reason for this?

    Still waiting reply from staff but apparently after few hours, no one answering it yet. Even though at the time I post it there is staff name supernovia active answering other thread. Maybe she need ask her friend or maybe did not read my thread.

    I really dislike it. Media file link/url is just simple jpg. But now it wrapped inside page with button and no option for simple zoom in PC.

    Agreed, it’s annoying. I’m glad I’m not the only one with this issue and thanks for sharing your similar experience. I’m way behind on how things work with web sites and html or whatnot; because I can’t explain how the URL works for it. The address bar shows the image file’s URL only, so it should only be displaying the isolated image. But it’s not, it’s the white background page. Even when clicking on the image to actually get to the image by itself, the URL doesn’t change at all.

    On a side note, guess I’ve been shielded by noscript and uBlock all these years for way longer than I thought. I remember when my blogs weren’t so full of ads.
