Clicking on image does not go to attachment page..displays Problem? You are lost

  I have inserted images into a post per usual and yet when I click on the image it does not go to the attachment page for larger viewing. It displays Problem? You are lost? etc etc
  Is this temporary..what is it? My previous posts display normally just the most recent one.

  If you click on an image in other posts they behave normally. The new one is behaving strangely. I do not believe I did anything differently with my files.

  Thanks I appreciate it. I did a test draft post where I put one of the pictures in to see if the same thing happened and it did. I did check the files to be sure they were RGB mode and not indexed as I recall WordPress does not like indexed color mode. :)

  Kind of weird but the note is so polite when you click.

  timethief, I reloaded the three images just now one by one and was able to go to the attachment page. So I replaced the three pics on the post and deleted the first upload. Not exactly sure what went wrong but everything is working properly now. I used the multi-file uploader the first time but that never a problem. I did see when I went to look at the first ones that the view attachment page button did not show on those as on the reloads. So all’s ok but if someone realizes if I did something the first time just let me know and I’ll not do it again!!

  @ jalovell – I’m glad everything is working for you now. :)

  It’s hard to say what went wrong the first time, since you’ve fixed the post and deleted the images that weren’t working. If it happens again, please let us know and leave the images in your media library — we’d be happy to take a closer look!

  I do thank you for looking and if it happens again won’t be so anxious to get rid of the problem uploads so maybe the cause could have been discerned somehow!!
