Clicking “viewsite” brings me to wordpress.com

I’ve just set up a new blog. When I click “view site”, it just goes to the wordpress.com main page, with me logged in. Most links in the admin area will bring me to wordpress.com/PageTitle when it should be cntowerlights.wordpress.com/PageTitle.
I can’t start blogging!

If I were you I’d ignore that, even though you’re quite right: it’s an error that shouldn’t be happening. Sometimes it occurs when people delete the space-filler post that WordPress.com loads every blog with. Not to worry. As long as you can see your dashboard, you can start blogging.
Just click on Write and write a post. Hit “Publish” when you’re done and then wait till the View Post notice pops up above the post box. Click on that and see if it doesn’t take you to your new post. Report back, whatever happens.
And I see your first post just fine! It must have worked.

Been noticed before here in the forums. If it’s still occuring, drop staff a feedback via the feedback link at the upper right of your dashboard and ask them to look into the issue.

Awesome thanks for the replies guys. Looks like the situation kind of resolved itself (unless an unknown staff member was strolling by and took care of it.)
